We are happy to announce that at the Hannover Messe, ETIM International and eCl@ss, represented by their respective presidents Jan Janse and Markus Reigl, signed a Memorandum of Understanding in which they agree to extend their current collaboration – valid only for Germany – to an international scope. Goal is to make life easier for the users of both standards and to avoid inefficiencies associated with dual processing. The existing mapping between both standards will be continued and expanded where possible. A joint working group will investigate and implement further synergies, such as the alignment of change request processes. We are confident that this new phase in our longstanding collaboration will help to put an effective pillar under the digitalization of our sector.
